This weekend Operation: OVERWATCH will take over Mass Effect 3′s multiplayer mode. Since the multiplayer community failed to achieve the allied goal during the last operation, Operation: BROADSIDE, Bioware has extended this weekend’s operation from July 27th at 10AM PST up until July 30th at 5AM PST. According to the Bioware blog, the squad and allied goals are as follows:

Squad Goal: Extraction on any difficulty with at least one squad member using an Earth Pack character

Allied Goal: Extract 800,000 individual players on any difficulty, with each live member counting toward the goal.

As always, the Squad Goal reward is a very precious Commendation pack while the Allied goal will get you a Victory pack that will guarantee you one of the new Earth DLC multiplayer classes. If you would like to earn the Squad Goal reward, start earning those credits now as the Mass Effect 3 Earth DLC has already been released.

Check out the Controller Face Twitch channel this weekend for live broadcasts during Operation: OVERWATCH.
